Christophe Cardoen : lights

Lives and works in Grenoble.
He uses light and shadow as a material in itself. By associating electro-mechanical mobiles with light sources, he provokes variations in rhythm, scansions of bright lights in the deep dark and tests our visual, spatial and temporal perceptions.
These instruments allow him to develop techniques to play with light during performances with musicians, filmmakers, actors, dancers, practicing improvisation.
