SPACE TENDU
It is an orchestral playing device organized in an architecture particular to an interior or exterior place.
Each member of the UN is at his or her workstation, which is a table.
Each station/table touches the other's in a horizontal succession.
There is no free space between the stations.
It is a large snake that unfolds or follows the constraints of the playing area's relief.
We can also take the image of stalls in a market with all the stands stuck together and the juxtaposed diversity of their proposals.
What is played...
A duration - between 1h30 and 4 hours - is decided according to the places and the respective desires of the orchestra and the organizer.
Each of the acting members is responsible for his clock and the content of his musical proposal or action.
It starts all together and so stops.
The dynamics of each one's playing is relative to his or her space without the intention of projecting the sound or action outwards.
It is the spectator/listener who approaches one of the stands or listens in a wide shot to what is propagated in the space.
The spectator wanders at will. It is all these different perspectives of listening and looking that make Espace tendu a unique experience for everyone.
